If your dream job is to be a cabin crew , here's what you should know about the interview process .

Just to let you know that it's not easy to get the job and you must know that working as a cabin crew is not as glamorous as you thought.

To apply for the job and go for interview , please send your application to cabincrew@jetstarasia.com with your email title as " Application for the position of Part time/full time cabin crew.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to their interview . 

Process 

The registration starts from 9am - 9.30am , 1 August 2015 . I arrived there at 8am as i think it's better to be early than late and i would suggest you to reach early so that you can make some new friends and it will give good impression . PS : They will stop you from registering after 9.30am so make sure you reach before 9.30am . 

1st stage :

Firstly you will need to pass them your application form and they will confirm with you whether you have all the documents required . especially your degree cert . They will then pass you a number tag , make sure you wear it during the whole interview process.

After that will be height check , and you may proceed to the room and take individual photo by their staff. 

You can then take a sit and chit chat with your friends , make sure you don't say anything negative or stupid things as you won't know whether there's spy around you . 

A beautiful lady started to talking and show us video about Jetstar , telling us which country Jetstar is flying to and how it's established and what awards has been won by Jetstar . 

We were separated into 2 groups after the speech , each group have about 50 ppl . Group A will go for self introduction first , and group B will go for grooming check and announcement test . 

I was very nervous for grooming check because of my skin condition . I always have pimples when i'm lack of sleep or when my body is heaty or when i'm having my period !! So i changed my lifestyle before the interview because i dont want to have bad skin condition . I drank lots of water , sleep earlier , eat more vege and fruits . So yeah my skin condition became better during the interview day woohoo . 

Back to the topic haha , so we need to cat walk on a straight white line and they will check your skin (face , hand , back , shoulder , leg) under the light . 

After the grooming check , we queue up again and wait for the announcement test . Make sure you don't walk like a duck or chicken as they will access the way you walk too . The announcement test was pretty simple , just read what they ask you to read , the announcement was quite long tho hahah . My friend told me that i read it so loud and clear HAHA 

We went in for the self introduction stage after announcement test , our group was allowed to choose whether you want to use the mic . I choose to use mic because i love talking with mic , it helps me a lot in talking hahaha You will be given a topic to talk about 1 min before your turn. So yeah , i was nervous and i didnt say what i planned to say but i just say whatever it came to my mind (name , age , hometown , working experience , hobby , personality ).  My  topic was security , and i mentioned that security is important that is why we have cctv and security check LOL . Some other topic that i can recall was water , hobby , happiness . 

We were allowed to go for a break while waiting for the result . 20 min later , they announced those people that got into another stage of the interview . I'm so so so happy to be one of them ! There're only 35 people got into the next stage . 

2nd stage :

This is the team building test . We were separated into groups , and we were asked to build a free standing tower with an airplane on top of it using straws and tapes provided in 10 min . It was fun and i'm so blessed to have awesome teammates ! We are the champion for this round because we build the tallest tower and cutest airplane hehe . We waited for the result in the room and i'm so happy that everyone of us passed this test , congratzzzzzzz ~

3rd stage :

Final stage for the day , which is the 2 to 1 interview . We were called in one by one and interviewed by 2 interviewers . My interview with them was fun yet challenging . My interview took quite a long time idk why lol . 

They asked me lots of questions such as :

• Why do you want to be cabin crew , are you going to tell me your dream job is to be cabin crew too? HAHA , 
• What's the toughest situation you ever faced , 
• Whats my bad experience with customers , 
• Whats my biggest achievement , 
• What if a customer tell you that the person next to her took off his shoes and have smelly feet , there's no more empty seats (this is a tough question for me btw haha) , 
• Sell travel exclusive products to the interviewer. 

We can go back after the final stage for first day , and they will contact you if you are shortlisted . 

They called me when i'm on the way back to KL , which is on Monday . The final interview is on wednesday , make sure you can take leave on that day if you got selected hehe 

4th stage :

This is the final interview , which is the 'Meet the management ' session . We are warned that it will also be elimination if we didn't perform well. 

The final interview was quite fun , we were split into groups again ,5 in a group , and we will need to chit chat with 4 managers . They will ask us question and we can also ask them questions if there's still time left ( 5 min chit chat with one manager ).

After chatting with all the managers , we waited for around 20 min in the room for the result . Everyone of us got good news from them cause all of us got the job !hehe  

Thats all i remember for my interview , i wish you guys all the best if you want to give it a try . Fighting !!

anyway, wanted to blog about how much i appreciate my friends because i don't look like i am? LOL

i'm so sorry for being mean and cold sometimes because i just can't show out what i really feel in my heart ,

i don't know how to express it out ><

I'm only able to show it through buying stuffs for you guys , plan outings , plan bd party or more ? i guess? haha

outing is always difficult for me to plan because sometimes i can't even promise that i can make it or not , since i can't go out that often . 

i need these 3 things if i wanna hang out :

but you guys should know that i always wanted to hang out with you guys because i always miss you guys !

i knew you guys from different places , one from yoke name , some from CHS , and a gang from MMU , and also a few cousins which i already categorized them into best friends LOL 

i'm so glad and happy to met all of you . 

even though we seldom meet up , and sometimes i can't help out much when you need me , and i'm really sorry about that . 

best friend doesn't mean that you need to meet them everyday, hang out everyday ,or do everything together because everyone have their own social life and different life style .

For me, best friend are those who will try their best to be there for you when you need them,  

help and support you when you are doing the right things , 

scold or advise you when you are walking on the wrong path , 

argue or communicate with you when both of you have conflicts , 

not hiding or tell lies about any true feelings between each other because it really hurts a lot when you know that your best friend starts to dislike you and talk bad behind you .

it's difficult to find such friend, friends who love you with their heart , 

giving in without asking for return ,

friends who understand you . 

a billion thanks to you guys 

 , and million of apologize 

because i'm always too noob to make you guys happy or be there for you when you needs me . 

i'm stupid and careless and irresponsible sometimes(or maybe always TT) , forgetful and i have a lot of weaknesses which makes you feel difficult to communicate with me . 

I'M SORRY but i will try my best to improve myself . 

btw, i'm going to spend some time to join tzuji because i think maybe it would helps myself while i'm helping others?

 or at least i can become a better person :)
